Acupuncture is a highly effective method for treating personal injuries

Acupuncture can reduce pain and discomfort from auto collision injury. The body is especially sensitive right after an accident, local treatment can sometimes aggravate the injured area by causing more inflammation.

Traditional acupuncture is not only treating the local pain areas like “IMS (Intramuscular Stimulation”, traditionally so-called “Ashi (local pain) points acupuncture” but also, it utilizes distal points such as ear acupuncture points to regulate our nervous system and induce endogenous opioid release for pain reduction and treating Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

Acupuncture can treat both body and mind

Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a common mental health problem suffered by people following a serious car accident. For many car accident victims, PTSD is a very real concern. If left unchecked, PTSD can be lead to more serious problems like depression, drug or alcohol dependence, thoughts of suicide, and physical health problems.

Acupuncture effectively treats PTSD. Researchers conducting a randomized controlled study of active duty US military service personnel concludes that acupuncture significantly improves patient outcomes for PTSD patients. Acupuncture also induced secondary improvements: reduced depression and pain, improved mental and physical health functioning.
