Treating Hyper-salivation with TCM Herbal Medicine

ABSTRACT Background: In Western medicine, the doctor looks for specific causes of diseases, and focuses on particular body components to treat. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) doesn't work in this way. There are fundamental differences in principles, diagnosis and treatment approaches between Western medicine and Chinese medicine. The body is an organic whole, all the component parts are interconnected, they dependent and restrict each other physiologically, influence each other pathologically. Therefore, TCM has strength for treating unknown and difficult diseases because when the body regains it’s normal balance and physiology, itself will treat the disease as long as it happened within

Successful Prolotherapy for Chronic Pain

Prolotherapy or Regenerative Injection Therapy (RIT) is a simple and natural nonsurgical technique that relieves chronic pain by promoting the body to repair damaged or weakened joints, ligaments and tendons. Most patients have pain VAS (visual analogue scale) around 4 and it usually drop d

Trigger Point Injection & Prolotherapy for shoulder joint pain

LIGAMENT & TENDON INJURIES Ligament injuries are among the most common musculoskeletal injuries seen in clinical practice and ligaments are the most frequently injured structures in a joint. Ligaments play an important role in balancing joint mobility and joint stability. Disruption of joint ligaments severely impairs joint function. Ligament and tendons are made of collagen. When the ligaments and tendons are injured, the body produces collagen to heal them. The problem with ligaments and tendons is that the body offers them a poor blood supply and, because of it, a poor chance to completely heal. In non-injured ligaments or tendons, collagen fibers are flexible and have some elasticity. El
